On Monday I started LEAN, the third and final phase of ChaLEAN Extreme and WOW, it's amazing. The workouts are extremely challenging, yet fun and not overly time consuming. They are all less than an hour, and most are less than 45 minutes! I have seen a CHANGE in my body and Chalene's breakdown sets are the coolest thing ever! I would HIGHLY recommend it. My workout: ChaLEAN Extreme

Tell me more about the workouts. What types of movements? Is it more dance or more of a P90 type workout? How is each phase different?
ReplyDeleteThe workoputs involve weightlifting. It is more of a P90 type workout, in that sense. The focus is on slow and controlled reps, but Chalene makes it fun and the workouts are set to motivating music. The first phase BURN is meant to ignite your metabolism by starting to put more muscle into your body. In the second phase, PUSH, you lift heavier to really add muscle and melt away the fast. In the third phase, LEAN, both upper and lower body movements are combined to strip away the final layers of fat. There are a few cardio-type workouts thrown in each week too for variety and for extra fat burning. This program is great because both men and women get the results they want: men add muscle and lose fat, while women get extremely toned.
